6 weeks: Full medical examination
6-8 months: Developmental & medical
4-5 years: Developmental & medical
Immunisation's as scheduled
Women aged 18 – 70 years
2-5 yearly checks to include Pelvic and Beast examination, Cervical Screening Test, Blood Pressure, Skin Check, Urine testing and Cholesterol check.
Lifestyle advice. Vaccination as required.
From age 40: Mammography
Men aged 18 – 70 years
2 yearly checks to include Blood Pressure, Urine testing, Cholesterol check, Skin check, Testicular self-examination taught.
Lifestyle advice. Vaccination as required.
From age 50: Prostate cancer screening. It is recommended that men turning 50 should have a full medical examination.
Elderly
From age 70: Men and women should have yearly check-ups including Blood pressure, Urine testing, and Skin Cancer check.
Enhanced Primary Care-Health Assessments
Independent home living Health Assessments for over 75 year old Australians. Care Plans and Case conferencing are available for patients with chronic conditions and multidisciplinary care needs.
Family History
Patients with a family history of Heart Disease, Breast, Ovary, Bowel or Prostate cancer or Diabetes may need more detailed screening.
